This is Murphy. He is 73 and he lives alone. He got divorced 10 years ago because his wife shouted at him all the time. He likes peace and quiet. He doesn’t like his neighbours who listen to music because it is always very loud. He doesn’t like any other people in the house either. And most he hates children; they never say hello to him. There are also some things he likes. He likes watching TV, especially in the evening. He never misses any TV news out. During the day he usually goes for a walk with his little black dog Alfread. He feeds birds in the town park and then he returns home. At 12:00 exactly he has lunch. He loves eating but he can’t cook himself so he prefers to have take-aways. He has a rest and a cigar after his lunch. He sleeps 17 hours a day.
