Gaiman, Neil: Coraline - film version

I. Video - Fill in the missing words

- open the Word document which is a part of this elearning - it's located down under this whole text (Přiložené soubory: coraline.doc).

- watch the movie and fill in the missing words in the document.

- print the document and bring it into the next lesson.

II. A Short Tour Around Coraline's New House

1. Go to http://coraline.com/

If you move your mouse up and down you will notice, that it gives you light (as if you were holding a candle in your hand)

2. Click the button "ENTER SITE" which is above the middle picture in the red frame.

Coraline's new house stands right before you. If you move your mouse up, down, right or left, you can explore the grounds around the house.

3. HOMEWORK!

a) Visit Mr. Bobinski (the crazy old man). He lives in the attic.

- CLICK THE RIGHT UPPER SIDE OF THE HOUSE to get there.

- enter the mouse circus - the red and orange tent in front of you

- type your name into the box and click "SUBMIT"

- now click "SHARE & DOWNLOAD", then "EMAIL"

- type in YOUR name again and click "NEXT"

- the system will now require an email. Type in ANDAFIN@SEZNAM.CZ and click "SEND". After that you can click X down in the right corner of the table. Mr. Bobinsky will thank you now.

b) Find Coraline's garden and make your own flower.

- first you have to get outside of Mr. Bobinsky's room - move your mouse to the front of the room between the first two cannons. An "EXIT" button will appear. Just click the button and you appear in front of Coraline's house again.

- now search around the house for the garden - just move your mouse to the right, the garden is there waiting for you.

- click on the garden and make your flower. Choose some petals on the left and put them on the flower. Now you can adjust the quantity, size and colour of the petals by using the cursors on the right.

- type the name of the Flower into the place on the right. Then click the button "SAVE", click the button "EMAIL" and type in ANDAFIN@SEZNAM.CZ
